The Establishment of an International Network of ITE and CPD providers and stakeholders aims to facilitate the building of a collaborative learning community of practice within primary education, spread awareness of a framework for collaborative learning communities, and foster cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange among ITE and CPD providers and stakeholders on an international scale.
The Mapping of the current policies and systems’ needs to redesign learning environments involves identifying existing policies in primary education focused on innovation, sustainability, and ICT; gathering insights from experts, policymakers, and ITE/CPD providers; and collecting views from in-service teachers and headteachers on current challenges and professional development needs for improved learning environments.
The Development of a School-wide Professional Development Program aims to equip in-service and pre-service primary teachers and headteachers with effective practices, policies, and tools to design and implement Innovative School Learning Environments (ISLE) that enhance learning quality, inclusion, and wellbeing, while empowering partner organisations to deliver impactful training and capacity-building initiatives.
The Implementation and Evaluation of School-based Learning Activities using Mobility Schemes seeks to enhance teachers’ and headteachers’ knowledge and skills in designing innovative, inclusive, and sustainable ISLEs; engage students in active, cross-cultural learning experiences; foster professional growth through hands-on mobility activities; and evaluate program effectiveness to inform future educational policy and practice.
The Policy Development and Scalability initiative aims to design, promote, and scale evidence-based, equity-driven policies for establishing ISLE that enhance quality, inclusion, innovation, wellbeing, and sustainability in primary education, align with EU priorities, foster international collaboration, integrate professional development, and ensure continuous monitoring and improvement for long-term educational impact (international and national policy workshops, annual meetings of the international learning network).
